About the Presenters:

Arndt Niebisch studied German philology and started his professional career as an university lecturer of German, philosophy and literature sciences. During his career as a university lecturer he researched and worked in Germany, the USA and Austria. In 2017 he finished a technical college education on Web Development and since then is working as a Web Developer for the IBM Client Innovation Center Vienna.

Farid Bidardel is co-founder and currently chairman of the board of CodeDoor.org (a non profit platform to teach digital skills) and CEO of TensorParc GmbH (a software company that creates smart learning algorithms). Previously, he was working for Social Impact and – together with companies such as JPMorgan, Generali & Deutsche Bank – he was responsible for managing and developing national and international programs for both disadvantaged and social entrepreneurs. He holds a master’s degree in education, specialising in youth-and adult education and is a lecturer at various universities on education, innovation and entrepreneurship. For his work he has won numerous awards, such as the European Excellence Award, the Future Skills Award and the Land Of Ideas Award, given to him by the President of Germany. He is also an alumni of the Startup School of Y Combinator in San Francisco.
